Welcome to the WPiGo Installation & Usage Guide. This comprehensive guide covers installation and setup for all product types: WordPress themes & plugins, software licenses, and digital products.

Part 1: WordPress Products
Before You Begin
✓ Prerequisites Checklist
- Downloaded your product ZIP file (see Download Help)
- Access to your WordPress admin panel
- Your license key (from confirmation email or dashboard)
- A backup of your current site (highly recommended)
- Verified your hosting meets product requirements
⚠️ Important Safety Tips
- Always backup first: Create a full backup before installing anything
- Test on staging: If possible, test new products on a staging site first
- Check compatibility: Verify WordPress version and PHP requirements
- Read documentation: Check included README files for special instructions
Installing WordPress Plugins
Method 1: Upload via WordPress Admin (Recommended)
- Log in to WordPress Admin
- Go to your site’s admin panel (usually yourdomain.com/wp-admin)
- Enter your username and password
- Navigate to Plugins Section
- In the left sidebar, click Plugins
- Click Add New
- Upload Plugin
- Click the Upload Plugin button at the top
- Click Choose File
- Select the ZIP file you downloaded (DO NOT extract it first!)
- Click Install Now
- Wait for Installation
- WordPress will upload and extract the files automatically
- This may take 10-30 seconds depending on file size
- Activate the Plugin
- Once installation completes, click Activate Plugin
- Your new plugin should now appear in the list
Method 2: Upload via FTP/cPanel (Advanced)
- Extract the ZIP File
- Right-click the ZIP file on your computer
- Select “Extract All” or use extraction software
- Connect to Your Server
- Use an FTP client (FileZilla, Cyberduck) or cPanel File Manager
- Enter your FTP credentials from your hosting provider
- Navigate to Plugins Directory
- Go to:
/wp-content/plugins/
- Go to:
- Upload Plugin Folder
- Upload the extracted plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/ - Make sure you upload the folder, not the ZIP file
- Upload the extracted plugin folder to
- Activate via WordPress
- Go to Plugins in WordPress admin
- Find your newly uploaded plugin
- Click Activate
Installing WordPress Themes
Method 1: Upload via WordPress Admin (Recommended)
- Log in to WordPress Admin
- Navigate to Themes Section
- Click Appearance → Themes
- Add New Theme
- Click Add New
- Click Upload Theme
- Upload ZIP File
- Click Choose File
- Select your theme ZIP file (DO NOT extract it first!)
- Click Install Now
- Activate the Theme
- After installation, click Activate
- Your site will immediately switch to the new theme
⚠️ Important: Activating a new theme changes your site’s appearance immediately. Make sure you have a backup!
Method 2: Upload via FTP/cPanel (Advanced)
- Extract the theme ZIP file
- Connect via FTP or cPanel
- Navigate to
/wp-content/themes/ - Upload the extracted theme folder
- Go to Appearance → Themes in WordPress
- Find your theme and click Activate
Activating WordPress Product Licenses
Finding the License Activation Page:
- Plugins: Settings → [Plugin Name] → License tab
- Themes: Appearance → Theme Options → License tab
- Or: Look for a dedicated menu item
Activation Steps:
- Locate the “License Key” or “Purchase Code” field
- Get your license key from your confirmation email or account dashboard
- Paste the license key into the field
- Click Activate License
- Verify the success message appears
Common WordPress Installation Issues
Problem: “The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive”
- Use FTP/cPanel method instead
- Contact your hosting provider to increase upload limits
Problem: “Destination folder already exists”
- Deactivate and delete the existing version first
- Or rename the old folder via FTP before uploading
Problem: White Screen After Activation
- Access your site via FTP/cPanel
- Navigate to
/wp-content/plugins/or/wp-content/themes/ - Rename the problematic folder (add “-disabled”)
- Your site should recover
- Contact support@wpigo.com with error details
Part 2: Software Licenses & Activation
What You’ll Receive
When you purchase a software license from WPiGo, you’ll receive:
- License Key or Activation Code: Unique code to activate the software
- Download Link: Link to download the software installer (if applicable)
- Activation Instructions: Specific steps for your software
- License Certificate: Proof of purchase documentation
Step 1: Download the Software
Option A: Download from WPiGo
If the software installer is provided:
- Log in to your WPiGo account
- Go to My Purchases tab
- Find your software license
- Click Download to get the installer
- Save the file to your computer
Option B: Download from Official Vendor Website
For many software licenses, you’ll download from the official vendor:
- Check your confirmation email for the official download link
- Visit the vendor’s official website
- Download the latest version of the software
- Use your WPiGo license key to activate it
Step 2: Install the Software
Windows Installation:
- Locate the downloaded installer file (usually .exe or .msi)
- Double-click to run the installer
- Follow the on-screen installation wizard
- Choose installation location (or use default)
- Wait for installation to complete
- Click Finish
Mac Installation:
- Locate the downloaded file (usually .dmg or .pkg)
- Double-click to open the installer
- Drag the application to your Applications folder (for .dmg)
- Or follow the installation wizard (for .pkg)
- Enter your Mac password if prompted
- Wait for installation to complete
Linux Installation:
- Download the appropriate package (.deb, .rpm, or .tar.gz)
- Open terminal
- Navigate to the download directory
- Run the appropriate installation command:
sudo dpkg -i filename.deb(Debian/Ubuntu)sudo rpm -i filename.rpm(Fedora/Red Hat)- Or extract and follow included instructions
Step 3: Activate Your License
Common Activation Methods:
Method 1: Activation During First Launch
- Launch the software for the first time
- A registration or activation window will appear
- Select “I have a license key” or “Activate”
- Enter your license key from your WPiGo email
- Click Activate or Register
- Wait for confirmation (internet connection required)
Method 2: Activation from Settings/Help Menu
- Open the software
- Go to Help → About or Settings → License
- Click Activate License or Enter License Key
- Paste your license key
- Click Activate
- Verify activation success message
Method 3: Online Activation Portal
Some software requires online activation:
- Visit the vendor’s activation portal (link in your email)
- Create an account or log in
- Enter your license key
- Follow the activation instructions
- Download activated software or activation file
License Activation Tips
- Internet Connection: Most activations require an active internet connection
- One Device Only: Most licenses are valid for one computer/installation
- Deactivate Before Transferring: If moving to a new computer, deactivate the old installation first
- Keep License Key Safe: Store it in a password manager or secure location
- Reinstallation: You can reinstall and reactivate using the same license key
Troubleshooting Software License Activation
Problem: “Invalid License Key”
- Double-check for typos (copy-paste from email)
- Ensure you’re using the correct license key for this product
- Check if license has expired or been revoked
- Contact support@wpigo.com with your order number
Problem: “License Already in Use”
- You may have already activated on another device
- Deactivate the old installation first
- Or contact support to reset your activation
Problem: “Cannot Connect to Activation Server”
- Check your internet connection
- Temporarily disable firewall/antivirus
- Try again later (server may be temporarily down)
- Check if your company network blocks activation servers
Problem: “This Version is Not Licensed”
- Ensure you downloaded the correct version
- Some licenses are version-specific
- Download the appropriate version from your account
Transferring Software Licenses
Moving to a New Computer:
- On Old Computer: Deactivate license (usually in Help → License menu)
- Uninstall software (optional but recommended)
- On New Computer: Install software
- Activate using your existing license key
If You Can’t Access Old Computer:
- Contact support@wpigo.com
- Provide your order number and license key
- We’ll manually reset your activation
Software Updates
Automatic Updates:
- Most software checks for updates automatically
- You’ll see a notification when updates are available
- Click Update Now or Download Update
- Your license key remains valid for updates
Manual Updates:
- Visit the vendor’s website or your WPiGo account
- Download the latest version
- Install over the existing installation (usually preserves settings)
- Your license should remain activated
- If prompted, re-enter your license key
Part 3: Digital Products (Graphics, Templates, Courses)
Types of Digital Products
WPiGo offers various digital products:
- Graphics & Design Assets: Icons, illustrations, mockups, stock photos
- Website Templates: HTML/CSS templates, landing pages
- Online Courses: Video tutorials, educational content
- eBooks & Guides: PDF documents, manuals
- Marketing Materials: Email templates, social media graphics
- Stock Resources: Photos, videos, audio files
Step 1: Download Your Digital Product
- Check your confirmation email for download links
- Or log in to your WPiGo account
- Go to My Purchases tab
- Find your digital product
- Click Download
- Save the file(s) to your computer
Step 2: Extract Files (If Necessary)
Most digital products are delivered as ZIP files:
Windows:
- Right-click the ZIP file
- Select “Extract All…”
- Choose a destination folder
- Click Extract
Mac:
- Double-click the ZIP file
- It will automatically extract to the same folder
- Or use The Unarchiver app for advanced options
Linux:
- Right-click and select “Extract Here”
- Or use terminal:
unzip filename.zip

- PSD (Photoshop): Editable layered files
- AI (Illustrator): Vector graphics
- SVG: Scalable vector graphics (web-friendly)
- PNG/JPG: Ready-to-use images

How to Use:
- Open files in appropriate software:
- PSD files: Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, Photopea
- AI/EPS files: Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape
- SVG files: Any vector editor or web browser

- Extract all files to a folder
- Open index.html in your web browser
